Our Garden
Our Garden
Our garden is the quiet heart of La Evarose — a small plot of land in rural Australia where every rose, herb, and botanical begins. We plant slowly, tend carefully, and grow in rhythm with the seasons.
This is where beauty starts for us. In soil, in sunlight, and in the patient unfolding of each leaf and bloom.
A Place with Intention
Our garden is intentionally small. This allows us to grow with purpose — to honour the soil, protect the roots, and harvest only when the plants themselves are ready.
Nothing here is rushed. Nothing is forced.
The land sets the pace, and we follow.
How We Grow
We follow slow, traditional, earth-honouring practices:
– Organic feeding and compost
– No pesticides or synthetic sprays
– Companion planting for health and resilience
– Gentle hand-watering
– Seasonal pruning
– Dawn harvesting for highest potency
– Observing lunar cycles where possible
Our plants grow as they were grown centuries ago — with respect, intention, and gentle hands.
The Garden Calendar
Spring (Sept–Nov)
First roses, first petals, the earliest hydrosols. Herbs awaken. Infusions begin. The garden hums with new energy.
Summer (Dec–Feb)
Full bloom. Distillation days. Enfleurage trays. The air is rich with perfume, and the garden is at its most abundant.
Autumn (Mar–May)
Rosehips, seeds, golden foliage. The season of restorative oils, rich infusions, and calming hydrosols.
Winter (Jun–Aug)
Rest, pruning, feeding, soil building. The quiet months that prepare the next year’s beauty.
What We Grow
Our garden includes a growing collection of heritage roses and healing botanicals. Each is chosen for its purpose in our atelier:
Heritage Roses:
Madame Isaac Pereire • Roseraie de L’Haÿ • Ispahan • Quatre Saisons • Kazanlik • Fantin-Latour • Souvenir de la Malmaison • Rugspin
Botanicals:
Lemon balm • Gotu kola • Calendula • Eclipta alba • Marshmallow leaf • Yarrow • Arnica • Chamomile • Honeysuckle • Night jasmine • Goldenrod • Immortelle • Blue vervain (seasonal)
These plants form the backbone of our hydrosols, oils, balms, and limited seasonal collections.
Seed to Skin
Every product begins here — not in a factory, not from imported flowers, but from our soil and our climate.
Our harvests are intentionally small. Our distillations are slow. Our products are limited because our garden is real, and it determines what we can create.
This is why each bottle is numbered. This is why our offerings shift with the seasons. This is why our range is rare.
The Promise of the Garden
As the garden grows, so does the collection. Some products appear once a year. Some flowers bloom only for one month. Some roses take years before they are ready to harvest.
Everything here has a season — and when a season ends, the product disappears until the earth says it’s time again.
Beauty grown slowly. Held gently. Rooted in our land.
